Day 3 Continuation

July 21, 2012
We awoke around 7pm to go out for dinner and to the market. While on our walk to the restaurant, our friend Man kin showed us around the outside of the campus including where the sports complex and exercise building are. We ate a local restaurant that had a large selection of tasty food from all around the world. Man kin offered to buy our dinner. I had the chicken fried rice and Joel had the beef noodles. The food was excellent minus the mystery meet I was told not to eat!  We then discovered that there is no sales tax.
After eating, Man kin took us to one of the local grocery markets. Inside the market we found all kinds of exotic fruit that we had never seen before.  Most of the food was cheap and reasonably priced aside from the imported American products. We bought the bare essential items at the market and headed back to the school.
On our way up an escalator we saw a local Chinese woman fall down the stairs and continued to roll down as it went up. Man kin jumped to help her before Joel and I had time to even process what was happening.  Apparently, she had just lost her balance. She seemed fine aside from a few bruises. After returning back to the school Joel and I decided to go to bed early.
